My images are stories that develop during
the process of painting them.
I use imagery as a tool for understanding my
identity and my relationship to the world,
by creating allegories that help guide me
through my experience. I use a fragmented visual language in order to tackle multiple narrative threads simultaneously, constructing new forms through superimposition. I am passionate about painting’s unique ability to explore and record layers of experience on a singular surface, creating a palimpsest of external and internal thought.
